Requirements:

Preference given for possessing one to two years Quickbooks Online skills in an office administration environment

Must have a sound foundation in basic generally accepted accounting principles including an understanding of the chart of accounts, definitions of assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses, journal entries and accrual-based accounting

Candidates would ideally have completed a bookkeeping certificate or accounting program at a recognized post-secondary institution

One to two years prior experience with bank reconciliations, payroll, source deductions, WSIB, HST filing, ROEs and T4 filing

Superior verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience dealing with clients/customers is preferred

Ability to learn new software applications quickly

Ability to self-schedule, document processes, and always be looking for more efficient ways to accomplish goals

Ability to apply reasoning, decision making and judgement calls
